The FSASP in the only member-based organisation representing pathologists in both the private and public sectors. The main activity of the Federation of South African Societies of Pathology (FSASP) is to oversee the organising of the annual Pathology Congress of the Federation. As a non profit organization, the surplus made at these events is provided to the daughter Societies solely for the purpose of inviting guest speakers to the next congress. In this way we provide South African Pathologists and professionals in ancillary sciences with exposure to leading academics and researchers in Anatomical Pathology, Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology and Forensic Medicine.
